Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM) is a leading medical and behavioral service provider in Detroit. The hospital, with 12 outpatient sites throughout south-eastern Michigan, is one of the largest rehabilitation hospitals in the nation.

Started its function in 1951, RIM provides a full spectrum of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. Treatments for spinal cord injuries, stroke, cerebral palsy, musculoskeletal disorders, low back problems, amputations, geriatric conditions, work-related injuries, sports injuries and other medical conditions requiring physical rehabilitation are offered.

RIM has earned a reputation as being one of 17 federally designated model systems of care for the treatment of traumatic brain injuries.

Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
