Children's Hospital of Michigan

Children's Hospital of Michigan is the only freestanding medical facility in Michigan. Started in 1886, it is dedicated to caring specially for children’s health.

The hospital, with more than 200 pediatricians, 125 pediatric specialists and 600 pediatric nurses, caters patients from birth to adolescence, requiring a wide variety of distinctive care areas. Adolescent medicine, anesthesiology, cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, child life services, critical care medicine, gastroenterology, surgery, rehabilitation, pulmonary medicine and urology are the key services available.

Specialty clinics and immunizations to baby sitting classes, car seat safety check programs and other safety and prevention education classes are arranged.

Children's Hospital of Michigan accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
