MinnesotaLuverne Community HospitalLuverne Community Hospital (LCH)is a 28-bed facility that provides inpatient, acute, long term care, and outpatient services. The mission of the Luverne Community Hospital is to provide affordable, quality health care and wellness services with Love, Care and Hope. LCH was founded in July 1945. On May 1, 2000 LCH became the first fully owned facility of Sioux Valley Regional Health Services (SVRHS) of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. LCH is a certified Medicare and Medical Assistance provider and is fully licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health to provide acute, transitional, and swing bed services. The hospital currently employs approximately 200 employees. Nine family physicians and one full-time surgeon from the Sioux Valley Clinic - Luverne, attached to the hospital, provide health care to individuals of all ages. Several specialty physicians provide outreach clinics at LCH on a bimonthly or monthly basis.
