Madison Medical Center
Madison Medical Center, one of the first hospitals in Missouri built under the Hill-Burton funding program, was opened in 1961. The hospital specializes in delivering excellent service and accessible health care to the citizens of Madison County, and the surrounding counties of Wayne, St. Francois, Iron and Bollinger. Services offered are cardiopulmonary, occupational therapy, speech therapy, radiology, mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), bone densitometry, computerized tomography (CT) scan, nuclear medicine and other social services. Madison Medical Center is licensed by the Missouri Department of Health and affiliated with the SSM health care network.
