North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point

North Mississippi Medical Center is a community hospital serving people in 22 counties of north Mississippi and northwest Alabama. The center is first of its kind affiliate with North Mississippi Health Services headquartered in Tupelo.

NMMC covers a wide range of services including obstetrics/gynecology, internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, rheumatology, anesthesiology, allergy, otolaryngology, plastic surgery, pathology and radiology. The services are backed by highly qualified staff and state-of-the-art facilities. In addition, the center is also committed to meet the surgery, diagnostic testing and other treatments demands of the patient.

North Mississippi Medical Center Heart Institute, located within the campus, covers advanced cardiac treatment procedures supported by state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization labs. The 66-bed free-standing behavioral health center offers care for adults and seniors who are seeking help for problems such as depression, substance abuse, anxiety disorders, dementia, and other psychiatric and behavioral disorders. Affiliations with the National Cancer Institute and Mayo Medical Laboratories, the center is also home to a multidisciplinary cancer center.
