Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center

Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center has been serving the healthcare needs of seven-county area of Mississippi since 1969. It is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO).

This integrated health system provides comprehensive services including anesthesiology, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, ENT, gastroenterology, internal medicine, neurology, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, oral maxillofacial surgery, orthopedics, pathology, pulmonology, radiology, radiation oncology, general and vascular surgery, and urology.

Mississippi Cancer Institute, located within the center’s campus, offers a full range of treatment and prevention for cancer. In addition, SMRMC also runs nine clinics, an outpatient rehabilitation center and Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello.

Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center accepts Medicare patients.
