Community Medical Center

Community Medical Center is an acute medical and surgical hospital located on a 45-acre campus in Missoula, Montana. Started in 1922, this not-for-profit facility aims to improve the health of the residents of Missoula and the surrounding area through exceptional care and service. It offers the best healthcare value to each patient through extraordinary teamwork and appropriate use of sophisticated equipments and technology.

Community Medical Center is the only hospital which offers obstetrical and newborn care in Missoula County and it is one of three facilities in Montana providing high-risk obstetrical care and neonatal intensive care. Besides, it is a referral center, which receives mothers and infants from throughout western Montana and Idaho.

Community Medical Center has a separate pediatric intensive care unit for kids. Its rehabilitation center is the largest and longest-standing program of its kind in the state. Maternal and neonatal emergency transport services are available.

The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and The Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission (CARF).

Community Medical Center accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
