Clark Fork Valley Hospital

Clark Fork Valley Hospital - a 16 bed acute care center - is located on the western side of Plains, one of the larger cities within Sanders County. Started in 1971, it is an all service hospital, aiming to provide quality health care for the residents of the Bull River area, Hot Springs, Plains, Thompson Falls, Sanders County and other surrounding areas.

Inpatient and outpatient services are offered. Its emergency department is staffed with highly-trained physicians and operates 24-hours a day and seven-days-a-week. Private and semi-private rooms are available in the medical/surgical units.

Clark Fork Valley Hospital accepts both Medicare and Medicaid patients.
